Bcom, Kat and Leo are back with the 2nd part of the Winter 2018 season wrap-up. In this episode, we get into an intense debate over the ending of After the Rain. Bcom and Leo take solace in the fact that Kat was super-wrong about something in Laid-Back Camp. Kat and Leo are craving more Ramens, but Bcom’s not so sure. Ito Junji concludes with two absurdist comedy episodes with a special appearance by the Kool-Aid man. The first half of Darling in the FranXX closes with an intriguing cliffhanger about Zero Two’s backstory. And of course, Bcom punishes everyone with one last installment of the CiTRASH update. Finally, we end the show by giving out our final scores for this season’s top shows, in an in-depth segment where we get deep into our feelings on all eleven shows we followed this season.

Nerdom and Other Nonsense Anime Podcast #045 - Winter 2018 Wrap-up - Part 1

Bcom, Kat, and Leo are back to wrap up the end of the Winter 2018 anime season! We went really long with this episode, so we’ve split it into two parts. In this first half, we detail how horny Kokkoku’s staff are for Juri and Shouko, even until the bitter end. The Mitsuboshi Colors cracked us up for two more fun-filled final episodes. Mercifully, Skilled Teaser Takagi-san ended…finally, though Kat still has some choice words for its conclusion. Then we get into the final three fantastic episodes of A Place Further than the Universe, and how Bcom cried so much he couldn’t even jot down accurate notes through his blurred vision. We finish out this first part of the podcast with a lengthy rundown of the final three episodes of Violet Evergarden, along with a light novel spoiler section to attempt to answer a few lingering questions that have irked the cast throughout the entire series.

Nerdom and Other Nonsense Anime Podcast #044 - Spring 2018 Preview Extravaganza

Bcom, Kat, and Leo are joined by Brains from the Trash Pandas Watch Anime podcast to break down the upcoming Spring 2018 anime season. We go show by show through almost 60 TV anime, and give you the rundown on whether we think they’ll be worth a watch, or at least worth a drunken hate-watch. In doing so, I think we all learned a lot about everyone who took part in this cast. Leo is clearly a manga snob. Kat just wants pretty boys to be healthy and drink more milk. Brains, who has watched over 1,000 anime in his time, has happily accepted moe into his heart as the one truly great genre. And as for Bcom, well, it gets clearer every podcast that he has impeccable taste in anime, and in having that, he’s already won the pretty derby of life.

Make sure to stick around for the last part of the episode, where we made some predictions that will likely be very embarrassing for us in a couple months, if not a few weeks.
